Mahir Mahiroğulları completed medical education at Gülhane Military Medical Academy in 1992 and orthopedic specialty training there during 1995–1999. He undertook an orthopedic fellowship at Wake Forest University in the United States during 2005–2006. His career includes military hospitals, Medipol and Memorial hospitals.
