External media and image hosts
Instagram players are supplied by Meta. YouTube players use the privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com address; this does not mean that playing a video makes no network request or can never involve provider storage. Permission and Play are still required. No player starts automatically.
Photographs and thumbnails are separate from players. Locally hosted images are served with the page; an external image or a fallback to its original host may send an IP address, browser headers and origin information to that host. A photograph is not represented as a cookie-free external-player consent choice.
Review Meta's privacy policy, Google's privacy policy and YouTube's embedded-player information. These services can process information internationally. Opening the original post takes you to their own service.
Purpose-specific choices
Statistics and external-media controls are separate and start unchecked. Accepting optional features is not a condition of reading, following a topic or submitting a permitted comment. Reject and Accept are presented with equal prominence. Your choices expire after 180 days, or earlier if the notice version changes or storage is cleared.
The site does not include a custom Google Analytics tag, advertising pixel or marketing cookie in its current source. If a new optional tracker is introduced, the notice and controls must be updated before it can run.
