CHECK THE SOURCE.
QUESTION THE RECORD.

Find original records, dated corrections, health and research boundaries, image rights and sponsor disclosures in one place.

Official sources

Reports link to organisers, governing bodies, results books or recognised competition records so readers can check scores, dates, rules and official status.

Visible corrections

When an official decision changes a result or a material error is corrected, the page shows the current status and a dated update.

Health boundaries

Health pages are educational and cannot replace an examination, diagnosis or advice from an appropriately qualified professional.

Photographs must match the report

News photographs require a source-specific review of the event, date and people pictured, plus verified reuse rights. An athlete portrait, another match, a sidebar image or a rolling page cover cannot substitute for a match photograph. Unverified photographs are withheld; a clearly labelled report card is shown instead. Credits identify the creator, source and licence.

Research privacy

Academic cases must remain de-identified and educational. Names, images and combinations of details that could identify an athlete or patient do not belong in case discussion.

Sponsor separation

Paid placements are labelled “Sponsored”, kept outside editorial reporting and cannot determine coverage, conclusions or corrections.

No gossip

Coverage stays with sporting performance, people’s professional work, institutions, health, research and the public-interest decisions that shape sport—not private-life speculation.
