Levent Polat
Former youth international basketball player and sports lawyer.

Life and work
The story behind the role.
Levent Polat combines a professional basketball background with sports-law practice. Between 1995 and 2002, he played for Ülkerspor, Yeşilyurt and TED and represented Türkiye at youth levels.
After graduating in law from Istanbul Bilgi University in 2002, he practised independently before working for the Turkish Football Federation from 2009 to 2012 as a sports lawyer, disciplinary inspector and club-licensing legal-criteria specialist.
He founded Polat Hukuk ve Danışmanlık in Istanbul, representing athletes, clubs and agents in contractual disputes and proceedings before national courts, FIFA, CAS and BAT. His teaching includes Özyeğin University and, from 2024–25, Kadir Has University.
