He completed a coaching bachelor’s at Marmara University in 2005, an İstanbul Gelişim University master’s in 2018 and a Kütahya Dumlupınar University doctorate in 2024.
His doctorate examined the sporting aims and experiences of athletes and coaches participating in underwater sports. His university record lists an assistant professorship from 2024 and teaching in badminton, fair play, sport tourism and recreation organisation.
