İbrahim Yıldıran is a sport historian and educator whose academic career included Gazi University. Its profile identifies him as a former member of the institution. İbrahim Yıldıran completed the Ankara Youth and Sports Academy’s physical education and sport sciences programme in 1980.

İbrahim Yıldıran worked in the General Directorate of Physical Training in 1980–1985, completed a Gazi master’s in 1986 and a Mainz doctorate in 1991. Joined Gazi in 1992, becoming assistant professor in 1993, associate professor in 1995 and professor in 2001.

İbrahim Yıldıran led Coaching Education in 1994–1999 and Physical Education and Sports Teaching in 1999–2012 and 2016–2018.
