İbrahim Demir
Former Türkiye international goalkeeper and Beşiktaş goalkeeping coach.

Life and work
The story behind the role.
İbrahim Demir is a former Türkiye international handball goalkeeper and a goalkeeping coach. EHF records identify him as a Türkiye player from Eskişehir and trace his European competition career, including Beşiktaş Champions League seasons and a 2018–19 Challenge Cup campaign with Selka Eskişehir.
An EHF review of the 2016–17 Turkish championship described Demir as one of the country's most successful handball players and recorded that he left Beşiktaş after 11 years and 26 trophies. Beşiktaş's own farewell counted more than 500 appearances, ten league titles, eight Turkish Cups and seven Super Cups during that period.
Demir subsequently moved into coaching. Beşiktaş's 2026–27 staff directory lists him as goalkeeping coach, and the club named him in the Türkiye senior men's national-team staff invited for the May 2026 World Championship qualifying camp.
