Ebru Olcay Karabulut is a professor in Gazi University's Physical Education and Sport Education Department. Her research addresses physical-education teaching, social-emotional learning, exercise dependence, physical self-perception and the relationship between sporting participation and student development.
Her doctoral research compared problem-solving skills and personality characteristics among sport-science students at Ahi Evran and Gazi universities. Later publications include comparisons of physical-education lessons in Türkiye and the United States and studies of athletes' social-emotional learning.
