Cengiz Akarçeşme is a volleyball coach and sport performance researcher. Cengiz Akarçeşme completed physical education degrees at Gazi: bachelor’s in 1993–1997, master’s in 2000–2004 and doctorate in 2005–2010.
His master’s examined pre-match anxiety and volleyball performance; his doctorate modelled elite women’s volleyball match outcomes using logistic regression. The record places him in Gazi’s Faculty of Sport Sciences, Coaching Education department.
Recorded coaching education includes FIVB Level III in 2010 and the Turkish Volleyball Federation’s fifth-level technical-director course in 2023.
