Life and work

Ayşen Türk is a sports-medicine physician. Türk studied medicine at Hacettepe University from 1998 to 2004 and completed sports-medicine specialty training at İstanbul University in June 2009.
Her specialist thesis examined gait and biomechanical changes linked to ankle instability. She served as a doctor for Turkish women’s football and basketball national teams and as a doping-control official across several sports.
Her biography dates leadership of the TFF Mediterranean regional health unit to 2018–2021 and describes coordinating the Antalya hospital athlete-health centre project funded in 2014. The biography records academic work at Antalya Bilim University from 2021.
