Ali Kızılet
Sport-science professor and former football player with extensive referee conditioning and coaching-education work.

Life and work
The story behind the role.
Ali Kızılet is a professor in coaching education at İstanbul Gelişim University, whose Faculty of Sport Sciences board lists him as dean. He completed undergraduate physical education study at the Anadolu Hisarı Youth and Sports Academy in 1979 and later completed postgraduate study at Marmara University.
His professional background includes playing football and developing evidence-based training. In an October 2009 interview with the Turkish Football Federation’s TamSaha magazine, he described individually tailored fitness programmes for referees, informed by testing and ongoing monitoring. The article links that practical work directly to his Marmara University teaching and training-science specialism.
The federation named Kızılet as the Central Refereeing Committee’s physical-development lead at a January 2013 FIFA sprint-test session. In September 2016, it again recorded him supervising twice-daily training at a three-day Super League referees’ camp with Tuğba Bozdoğan. These are documented historical conditioning assignments, alongside his subsequent university career.
