The 77th UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships opened on 30 January in Hulst. The host nation immediately set the tone by winning the team relay, the first medal event of a programme that continued through 1 February.

Hulst's technical course and winter conditions brought junior, under-23 and elite categories into one global championship weekend. Because the event crossed into February, this archive records the January opening while linking to the UCI's complete post-event review.
